5 Ways To Change Your Mindset
Don't Quit on YOU. Change Your Mindset.
The truth is, you never really lie to yourself, though you can lie to others. Think about that.
On a daily basis we justify on a subconscious level why we don't make our health and self-care a priority. I get it, because I quit on me all the time. There never is enough time to workout, to prep meals, take the time for that massage to wash away the stress. UberEats is becoming an easy-out here in the city when I'm too tired to cook something and just want food, fast. Did I mention I live across the street from Toronto's best grocery store? If I walked 20 steps I'd be in the fruit and veggie section of the store.
So, yeah, I quit on me.
As 2020 starts to get closer, I'm zoning in on evidence-based strategies to help me change my mindset so that I have the strength and determination to put my health and wellness first while conquering my 2020 personal and business goals.
Care to join me?
1. Time With My Tribe
Positive friends are always supportive and make you feel good, even when you're not.
2. Choose Kindness
When the negativity seeps in, change your thoughts to positive ones and put kindness first
3. Step Away from Social Networks & Tech
Cutting down on trolling through social networks will only lead to more positivity in your lift. And cutting down on tech, after 8PM and on weekends will motivate you to invest your time elsewhere.
It will change your world. Doing something good for others releases 'feel good' chemicals in your brain and makes the world a better place.
Start a thank you journal. Every morning write 3-5 things that you are grateful for. Science has proven that it can in fact rewire your brain for happiness.
